About The Motel Montvallee Motel is a privately owned and operated facility built in the mid-fifties, the second story being built a few years after the first. Each room is different and has its own personality. Many of our repeat patrons have their 'own' rooms, which they specially request. All rooms have private baths - the downstairs have showers while the upstairs have a tub and shower. There is ground floor entry for the first floor, and some rooms adjoin. Cable TV and NO telephones! If you should need to use a phone, there is a pay phone available in the office and cellular service is available in the area. Computer access is available at the county library. There are two pleasant lounging areas, one partially enclosed , the other in the open under a maple tree. We also have a picnic area and horseshoe pit, flowers in the flower boxes and a well-admired garden. The motel is within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Monterey is a pleasant and safe place to walk with many older buildings of architectural interest. We are open year round for your convenience. Visa /MasterCard accepted. |
